Pamukkale

One of Turkey’s most famous sites Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) is a popular attraction on any Turkey Tour. Pamukkale, a UNESCO world heritage site features a unique landscape of white travertines, which hang from the hills as a result of calcium bicarbonate deposits that have petrified and formed for over 400, 000 years. Filled with bright blue water, and considered to have healing powers as a thermal spring, this location has become a unique tourism and wellness destination. Located next to the ancient city of Hierapolis, with well preserved Roman ruins and Cleopatra’s pool this is a wonderful destination to visit.

Aphrodisias

Aphrodisias, named after the goddess Aphrodite and referred to as the city of love is known as the centre of sculpture in the Ancient World. Aphrodisias, a remarkably well-preserved Roman-period city, is famous in antiquity for its sanctuary of Aphrodite and its marble sculptors. Known to tourists and travellers since the 18th century, it has been the subject of exploration since the early 20th century.
